Ganwyd Christine Kinsey ym Mhont-y-moel, Sir Fynwy, Cymru. Roedd hi\u2019n Gyd-Sylfaenydd, yn Gyfarwyddwr Artistig ac yn Weinyddwr Canolfan Celfyddydau Chapter, Caerdydd; yn Gyd-sylfaenydd Cymdeithas Arlunwyr a Dylunwyr yng Nghymru; ac yn Gynghorydd Artistig Cyngor Dinas Caerdydd ar gyfer y broses o ailddatblygu Canol Dinas Caerdydd rhwng 1968 a 1976. Gweithiodd fel arlunydd ac athrawes gyda phlant difreintiedig ar Ynys Iseldiraidd \/ Ffrengig St Maarten a Nevis yn y Carib\u00ee rhwng 1976 a 1980. Ers iddi ddychwelyd i Gymru ym 1981, mae hi wedi byw a gweithio yn Sir Gaerfyrddin ac yn Sir Benfro. <\/p>

Mae Christine wedi cynnal saith arddangosfa deithiol unigol genedlaethol a chwe arddangosfa deithiol unigol ryngwladol. Cynrychiolir ei gwaith mewn casgliadau cenedlaethol gan gynnwys Amgueddfa Victoria ac Albert, Llundain; Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru, Aberystwyth; Oriel Gelf Glynn Vivian, Abertawe; Amgueddfa ac Oriel Gelf Casnewydd, Casnewydd, Gwent; Cymdeithas Celfyddyd Gyfoes Cymru, Amgueddfa Genedlaethol Cymru, Caerdydd \/ Amgueddfa Caerfyrddin, Parc yr Esgob, Sir Gaerfyrddin; a Phrifysgol Caer-wynt, Hampshire. Mae ganddi waith mewn casgliadau preifat yng Ngwlad Belg, y Carib\u00ee, Catalonia, Iwerddon, Lloegr, Lithwania, Yr Alban, Y Swistir ac UDA. <\/p>

Mae Christine wedi ennill gwobrau niferus gan gynnwys Prif Grant Cynhyrchu a Datblygu Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru. Mae hi wedi ysgogi, curadu a threfnu arddangosfeydd a gwyliau sydd wedi cynnwys gwaith gan arlunwyr ac awduron gan gynnwys META, arddangosfa deithiol a oedd yn cynnwys gwaith ar y cyd gan feirdd ac arlunwyr, a ddangoswyd mewn pum lleoliad gan gynnwys Oriel Arka, Vilnius, Lithwania ar y cyd \u00e2 G\u0175yl Barddoniaeth y Gwanwyn. Dangoswyd paentiadau o\u2019i chyfres \u2018Llais \/ Voice\u2019 yn y T\u0177 Opera, Vilnius, Lithwania, ar y cyd ag opera \u2018Lokys\u2019 gan y cyfansoddwr Bronius Kutavi\u010dius ac yn Oriel Sofa, Druskininkai, Lithwania, mewn partneriaeth \u00e2 Menna Elfyn yn ystod G\u0175yl Celfyddydau Cwymp Barddonol. Roedd hi hefyd wedi curadu a threfnu G\u0175yl ac <\/sup>Arddangosfa Canmlwyddiant R.S. Thomas, Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Gwynedd. Cafodd ei gwaith ei gynnwys yn arddangosfa Kinsey, Roche a Webster yn Centre Cultural, Terrassa, Barcelona, Catalonia, yn ogystal ag arddangosfeydd gr\u0175p yn rhyngwladol. <\/p>

Dyfarnwyd r\u00f4l Cymrawd Anrhydeddus iddi gan Brifysgol Metropolitan, Abertawe a Chymrawd Ymchwil Gwadd yn y Fforwm Celf a Diwinyddiaeth Ffeministaidd, Y Sefydliad Partneriaethau Diwinyddol, Prifysgol Caer-wynt, Caer-wynt.<\/p>

Mae Christine Kinsey wedi cyhoeddi tri llyfr; Imaging the Imagination \u2013 An exploration of the relationship between the image and the word in the art of Wales<\/em>, yr oedd wedi ei ysgogi a\u2019i gyd-olygu gyda Dr Ceridwen Lloyd-Morgan ac a gyhoeddwyd gan Wasg Gomer yn 2005. Mae\u2019n guradur ac yn olygydd HON Artistiaid Benywaidd yng Nghymru \/ Women Artists in Wales;<\/em> llyfr hollol ddwyieithog (Cymraeg a Saesneg) a gyhoeddwyd gan Sefydliad H\u2019mm yn 2022.
